They are the\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-IE\"><u>proteins<\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-IE\">,\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-IE\"><u>fats (or lipids)<\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-IE\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-IE\"><u>carbohydrates<\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-IE\">\u00a0we need to keep our bodies moving. Our main source of macronutrients are in the foods we eat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\"><span lang=\"en-IE\">Micronutrients on the other hand, are the vitamins and minerals necessary to ensure good health. Micronutrients are not needed in the same quantities as macronutrients; however, they are still equally as important.
