Description
Cleanrooms are an environment where the level of contamination is controlled, specified by the number of particles per cubic meter at a specified particle size. Humidity, temperature and pressure can also be controlled. This course gives an insight into the world of Microbiology and the consequences of inadequate microbiological monitoring within the cleanroom. It also defines how to identify micro-organisms and how to control them in the area.
On completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Understand the concept of a micro-organism
- Appreciate the most common types of micro-organism
- Explain what these types do and examples of where they exist
- Understand the cleanroom contamination effects of these micro-organisms.
Who is this course for?
This course is the second in a series of Cleanroom Operation Courses. It is designed for users who are new to the area of cleanroom operations and are looking for a foundation course to cover the basics.
