Introduction

Personnel are required in cleanrooms to make the product or provide the service. They may work in Operations, Quality, Engineering, Special Service or other roles. Whatever the function performed, personnel entering cleanrooms must realise that they form the greatest risk to contamination of the cleanroom environment.

In this course we detail the personal behaviours and practises that will help to minimise these contamination risks.

On completion of this training course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the personal items that are prohibited from the cleanroom
  • Understand the personal behaviour restrictions and responsibilities for the cleanroom
  • Understand the garments to be worn in cleanrooms
  • Understand the procedure to be followed in garbing for cleanrooms
  • Understand the importance of good hand hygiene
  • Understand the procedure to be followed in hand hygiene before entering cleanrooms

Who is this course for?

This course is the sixth in a series of Cleanroom Operation Courses. It is designed for users who are new to the area of cleanroom operations and are looking for a foundation course to cover the basics.
