Introduction

Hello and welcome to this training course on Failure Mode and Effect Analysis or FMEA.
Managing risks correctly is key to the ongoing success of business operations.
Customers look for quality products and services with no defects. Ongoing safety, health and environmental compliance is essential for the business.
New products and processes must be developed such that from the beginning of production they are safe, reliable, efficient and meeting customer needs.
Yet we know that some new products cause real customer issues and
some new processes just don’t work well enough.
So how can we best ensure that the effects of potential failures in products and processes are avoided?
How can we identify and build in preventive design and operational controls.
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a tool that will help you to look to where failure is most at risk and implement preventive measures.
The aim of this training course is to provide you with the skills and knowledge in Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to work effectively in teams that identify, evaluate and control risks associated with product or process failure.

On successful completion of this course all students will be awarded a Certificate of
Completion. This certificate confirms you have completed all the video lessons for
every module and fully met all the requirements of the course.
To achieve this award all the assessment quizzes for each lesson must be passed. The pass grade for each quiz is 80%.You can retake lesson quizzes as often as you like.

The Assessment Method

There’s a quiz at the end of each lesson to test your understanding of the material. To successfully complete this course, you must pass the quiz for each lesson. Once all the lessons have been completed, you can then download and print the People & Process completion certificate.
