Introduction

Running a business requires skill and perseverance, but it also requires information. Information is the bedrock of decision making, and much of that information is financial. We need to know if the company is making money, if the business’s performance is per schedule, and if our assets are outperforming our liabilities. Business owners also need to be clear about the legal requirements of running a company and whether financial reports give a true and fair view of the company’s financial position as required by law.

On completion of this training course, you will be able to:

• Explore the purpose of financial reports and explain the guidelines for completing organisations financial reports
• Explain the purpose of management accounts and explain what they consist of

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for company officers, managers and all those interested in accounts. It is also suitable for anyone planning careers in business.

On successful completion of this course all students will be awarded a Certificate of
Completion. This certificate confirms you have completed all the video lessons for
every module and fully met all the requirements of the course.
To achieve this award all the assessment quizzes for each lesson must be passed. The pass grade for each quiz is 80%.You can retake lesson quizzes as often as you like.

The Assessment Method

There’s a quiz at the end of each lesson to test your understanding of the material. To successfully complete this course, you must pass the quiz for each lesson. Once all the lessons have been completed, you can then download and print the People & Process completion certificate.
